The truth: In humanity's darkest hour, opportunistic military and corporate leaders exploited mass trauma to eliminate democracy, seize permanent power, and establish authoritarian control that persists 30 years later.

December 1-15, 2027: The catastrophe peaks. An estimated 203 million people die across North America. Infrastructure collapses. Governments cease functioning. Society breaks down.

December 16-31, 2027: Immediate aftermath.

Survivors face:

• No functioning government (federal/state/local all collapsed)
• No power, water, communications in most regions
• Limited food supplies
• Mass displacement (millions fleeing affected regions)
• Medical crisis (hospitals overwhelmed/destroyed)
• Complete social breakdown

Into this chaos stepped four groups:

Why Nobody Stopped Them

How did Authority seize total power without significant resistance?

1. Mass Trauma
